Shadow Warrior received a free Survival Mode today via the game’s latest update, publisher Devolver Digital announced.

The mode is played out in three new battle arenas where players will take on waves of relentless, raging enemies.
Devolver Digital also announced a partnership between the developers of Shadow Warrior (Flying Wild Hog) and Rise of the Triad (Interceptor Entertainment), wherein players will be able to use the Excalibat from Rise of the Triad as an alternative katana in Shadow Warrior, and play as Shadow Warrior’s Lo Wang in Rise of the Triad’s multiplayer mode.
“Enjoy the free content, nerds,” said Devolver Digital’s fictional CFO Fork Parker. “Don’t forget my holiday cheer and festive giving of free stuff next year when I jack up prices on some face-melting indie games.”
Shadow Warrior is available on Steam, GOG and the Humble Store. The game is currently discounted by 75 percent on Steam.
