Square Enix holiday sale cuts prices by up to 50 percent (update)

Square Enix began a holiday sale in its online store today, offering discounts of up to 50 percent on some recent releases as well as older titles from its publishing catalog.

Here are some highlights from the titles on sale:

The sale runs from today through Jan. 5, and customers can get free shipping with an order of at least $100.
