Bravely Second teaser trailer shows a painted world and a hero

A short teaser trailer for Nintendo 3DS JRPG Bravely Second introduces the world and one of the player characters.

The first half of the trailer shows a drawing of a fantasy city with tall spires and prominent wind vanes, filling in line by line and finally turning to color. The second half ocuses on previously-revealed protagonist Magnolia Arc, with scenes of her in action flashing over her character artwork.

Bravely Second will be coming to Nintendo 3DS, though publisher Square Enix has not yet announced a release date even for its native Japan. An enhanced version of the previous game in the series, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be hitting North America in February 2014.
