The crowdfunding campaign for Honored, a reward system that provides physical badges for digital achievements, has entered the final hours of its flexible funding.
At the time of this post, Honored has raised just over $5,000 of its $25,000 goal. However, thanks to its flexible funding via Indiegogo, it will still collect all money raised even if the goal is not reached.
Honored is a free service that allows users to collect their gaming data from multiple platforms, including PlayStation Network, Steam and Xbox Live. The system then rewards players based on their achievements and gaming activity. Once unlocked virtually, players can purchase physical, embroidered badges to represent their accomplishments.
The campaign's funding efforts end Dec. 24 at 2:59 a.m. ET. If fully funded, Honored is expected to enter closed beta in the first quarter of 2014; without full funding, the beta is expected by 2014's third quarter.
Update: Honored did not meet its $25,000 Indiegogo funding goal this evening. At the time of writing, the project raised $6,074.
