Valve announced the Steam controller in September. The controller features circular trackpads for a player’s thumbs and is meant to be sensitive enough to accommodate games typically playable with a keyboard and mouse. Valve has previously released a video featuring the controller in action with Civilization 5, Papers, Please and Portal 2.
The Steam Controller is expected to launch in 2014, along with Steam Machines and SteamOS.
