Breath of Fire 6: Guardians of the White Dragon will include town-building systems similar to those of past games and at least one series regular, Pixelitis reports via Inside-Games.
Breath of Fire 6 to include town-building system, familiar elements

The latest entry in the series will feature locations from previous titles — especially the first game. According to the publication’s translation, winged heroine and love interest Nina will make a return. However, it is unclear if longtime protagonist Ryu will make a reappearance; instead, players can customize a male or female hero.
Players will also be able to pick up AI-controlled characters for their party, and combat appears to be based on timed attacks. The game also allows players to build a village and interact with its inhabitants.
Breath of Fire 6 was announced in August. A North American release date has not yet been announced.
