EA offering additional 15 percent off for last days of Origin sale

Electronic Arts is offering additional discounts on top of those included in its end-of-the-year Origin sale, giving players a chance to snag several downloadable titles before the sale closes next week.

Entering the code "ORIGIN15" at checkout will net players an additional 15 percent off on top of games' discounted price. The 40 percent off sale runs until Jan. 7, but this coupon code is only valid until Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. ET.

Titles featured in the sale include FIFA 14 for $23.79, FIFA Manager 14 for $20.39, Battlefield 4 for $35.69 and Need for Speed Rivals for $29.74. SimCity is also available for $20.39 while its Cities of Tomorrow expansion can be bought for $17.84. Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, The Mass Effect trilogy and a number of Sims 3 expansion packs are also included in the sale.
