Game Boy era inspired game now available on Steam

Two Brothers, AckkStudios' Kickstarted action-adventure role-playing game, is available on Steam for Windows PC for $11.24, discounted by 25 percent off.

A Mac version is expected to launch on the distribution platform in the coming weeks. In Two Brothers, a homage GameBoy era role-playing games, players embark on a quest as a young inventor named Roy to find a new color on Earth. According to the developers, Two Brothers is "meant to remind people of the Game Boy era of games without strictly adhering to the limitations of the system."

Two Brothers surpassed its $6,000 Kickstarter funding goal in September 2012, raising almost $10,000. The game was developed for variety of platforms, including Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. AckkStudios received approval for Wii U game development late last year.
