The second part in the “Inside Unreal” video series from Epic Games continues examining the various visual effects used to create the Unreal Engine 4 “Infiltrator” tech demo.

As in the first video, Epic’s Tim Elek and Zak Parrish walk the viewer through the guts of UE4, looking at how particles bounce off and through perforated meshes, how to create believable streams of water and how to give an underground area more atmosphere.
Unreal Engine 4 was formally revealed last year.
