Registrations are now open for the 2014 Game Developers Conference and are now available through the event's official website, organizers announced today.
GDC 2014 registrations now open


On Jan. 31, attendees can register for an early pass that offers 30 percent off the price of the full registration fees. GDC 2014 will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from March 17-21, 2014. Timetables and sessions for the five days of tutorials, bootcamps and roundtable discussions will be announced at a future date.
Game designer Brenda Romero will give a lecture at GDC 2014 called “Jiro Dreams of Game Design,” Yu Suzuki, game designer behind the Shenmue series will give a postmortem lecture on the creation of the original Shenmue. Other announced lectures include “Why’d She Buy THAT? Customer Psychology in Game Purchases” by Lucien Parsons of Operations Catalyst Consulting and ke Things Worse: Enabling Setbacks for Consequential Play” by Splinter Cell: Blacklist director Patrick Redding of Ubisoft Toronto.
