DeNA launched two very different games for iOS devices today: Lawless — a realistic arcade-style shooter set in Los Angeles in the 1990s, and The Gate — a real-time strategy collectible card game.
DeNA launches arcade-style shooter Lawless and collectible card game The Gate

Lawless was developed by DeNA's European studio and led by industry veteran Ben Cousins, who also worked on the studio's previous mobile shooter, The Drowning. In the game, players take on the role of a professional criminal who climbs the ranks of the L.A. Underworld. Players will be able to go on hundreds of missions set around Los Angeles, and they will also be able to take their friends with them on these missions.
The Gate was developed in collaboration with American McGee’s Spicy Horse Games in Shanghai. The game merges real-time strategy combat with tactical card deck building. Players take their deck of demons and abilities through hell, battling demons and taking part in player versus player combat.
Both titles are available today for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
