Actor Joel McHale and video game journalist Geoff Keighley will co-host the Spike VGX tomorrow evening, Keighley announced today on Twitter.
McHale stars as Jeff Winger on the NBC sitcom Community, which will return for a fifth season Jan. 2, and he also provides sarcastic commentary on pop culture as the host of the E! television series The Soup. Video game fans may know McHale as the master of ceremonies from a number of Ubisoft's E3 press briefings.
Keighley has served as a producer for the Spike Video Game Awards in years past, and he hosts the network's video game show, GameTrailers TV.
The Spike VGX, formerly the Video Game Awards, will be livestreamed on the web and a variety of connected devices starting at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 7.
