Former Crystal Dynamics creative director Tim Longo is now working with 343 Industries’ on the Halo franchise, according to changes made to Longo’s LinkedIn.
Tomb Raider creative director now with Halo team


Longo spent five years with Crystal Dynamics where he worked with the Tomb Raider franchise. After working on Tomb Raider Anniversary Edition for the Wii, he served two years as creative director during concept and preproduction for the Tomb Raider reboot and as Tomb Raider franchise director for one year.
He left in April 2011 for LucasArts, spending two years at the studio as creative director for an unannounced first-person shooter set in the Star Wars universe. LucasArts closed down in April earlier this year, and Longo’s LinkedIn profile states he joined 343 Industries in May.
343 Industries is currently working on the next title in the Halo franchise, which was revealed at E3 2013. The game is expected to launch in 2014 for Microsoft’s next-gen console.
