The upcoming paid mobile app for Eidos Montreal's Thief will include the first two issues of Dark Horse Comics' digital comic tie-in for the stealth game, publisher Square Enix announced today.
Paid mobile app for Thief includes first two issues of digital comic

Square Enix originally announced the mobile app in a pre-show segment for VGX 2013. The app will offer customers access to the game’s official wiki, which is being created “in partnership with IGN,” according to a press release from Square Enix. It will also feature art and background content from Eidos Montreal, official interactive digital maps made by strategy guide publisher Prima, access to Thief merchandise and a link to your Thief game so you can track your progress.
The app will be released on iOS and Android for $2.99 when Thief launches Feb. 25, 2014, on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. GameStop pre-order customers will receive the Android app for free, along with the Luc St. Pierre-composed soundtrack and the previously announced “Bank Heist” DLC mission. A “lite” version of the app will be available later this month; it will give players updates on the latest pre-launch Thief news.
