Injustice: Gods Among Us adds Aquaman to combatant roster

Aquaman will be one of many DC Comics combatants included in Netherrealm's upcoming fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, according to a reveal trailer posted on IGN today.

Aquaman's attacks seem to be based largely around his trusty trident weapon, which he can use both for melee and ranged attacks. He's capable of attacking distant foes with jets of water in order to keep juggling combos going, and his special attacks buffet foes with a tidal wave chock-full of unfriendly sea life — the aforementioned trailer shows an unfortunate Flash becoming shark food.

Injustice: Gods Among Us launches in North America April 16 for Xbox 360, Wii U and PS3.
