Brütal Legend will launch on Windows PC via Steam and is available to pre-order now, Double Fine Productions announced.
Pre-orders are currently $14.99, 25 percent off the game's release-day price, and buyers get immediate access to exclusive the game's multiplayer beta. Additionally, those who pre-order the game will receive Eddie Riggs' hair and his guitar Clementine for Team Fortress 2.
"Adding a PC release to Brütal Legend's list of conquests risks raising the world's ambient Metal saturation to dangerously high levels," said Double Fine President Tim Schafer, "which is why we're conducting this closed beta test for pre-orders."
The Brütal Legend original musical score is also available on Steam for $7.99, or as part of the game bundle for $4.99. The game's artbook, The Art of Brütal Legend, is also available for pre-order through Double's Fine's shop. The book features more than 600 pieces and a foreword from Schafer.
