The Longest Journey voice actress returning for unknown role in Chapters

Actress Sarah Hamilton will provide her voice for a yet-to-be-announced role in Red Thread Studio's upcoming sequel Dreamfall Chapters, the company announced via Kickstarter.

Dreamfall Chapters is the conclusion to the Dreamer Cycle, which began with adventure games The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Hamilton voiced the character April Ryan, whose fate remains uncertain following the conclusion of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.

"Sarah Hamilton's role in Dreamfall Chapters has yet to be revealed, but we're sure fans of April Ryan will start speculating right about...NOW," the update reads.

Chapters will feature three playable characters with intertwining stories, including Dreamfall protagonist Zoë.

Dreamfall Chapters is currently on Kickstarter, where it has raised more than $700,000 of its $850,000 goal. Fundraising ends on Sunday, March 10.
