Borderlands 2 for Mac gets Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt DLC and patch

Mac users will now receive Borderlands 2 patch update 1.3.1 as well as downloadable content Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, Aspyr Media announced.

The title is available from Steam as well as Aspyr's digital distribution platform, GameAgent, for $9.99, while GameAgent members are eligible for a 25 percent discount.

Borderlands 2 patch 1.3.1, which enables cross-platform multiplayer, is also available for download on Steam for Macs. The patch fixes numerous bugs, such as Deathtrap no longer restores shields, customizations for Sirens and Mechromancers from the Mr. Torgue DLC now unlock correctly and players will no longer get stuck "Whoops" mission of the Captain Scarlett DLC. Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt was released on the Jan. 15 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
