Vanquish coming to PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

Vanquish, Platinum Games' 2010 third-person shooter, will join the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection this week, Sony announced today.

It will be available for non-Plus members to buy for $19.99.

The free games won't end there for Plus subscribers. They'll be able to download Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, a PlayStation Portable "enhanced remake" of the Super NES game Mega Man X, while the game will be sold for $9.99 to people who don't have a Plus membership.

Plus members can also pick up a free Starter Pack for Dust 514, CCP Games' free-to-play MMO tie-in to Eve Online; it will sell for $9.99 otherwise. And they'll be able to buy Tate Interactive's Urban Trial Freestyle, which launches Feb. 19 on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, on sale. The PS3 version will be discounted to $11.99 from $14.99 for Plus subscribers, while the PS Vita version will be available for $7.99 instead of $9.99.

All of the above content will be available tomorrow, Feb. 19, on PSN.
