New details on Ascend: New Gods, the next game from Toy Soldiers developer Signal Studios, are revealed at Microsoft's PlayXBLA blog, detailing the massive enemies players will face in the Xbox Live Arcade game.
According to PlayXBLA's preview, players will fight a broad range of enemies ranging from the tiny — just ankle-high — to double the size of your Caos warrior to Titans approximately 500 times the size of your character. Those Titans will require "intricate, tactical combat and planning," according to the write-up.
Revealed at last year's E3, Ascend: New Gods is an action-RPG that features "parallel multiplayer" akin to From Software's Souls series and a mobile experience that the game's developers claim will "change the way you think about staying connected to your game."
Since its debut announcement, Ascend has been confirmed as one of the free-to-play titles bound for Xbox Live Arcade later this year. More details and images are available at PlayXBLA.
