Sony will release its next-generation PlayStation 4 this holiday, the company confirmed today. At the conclusion of its PlayStation Meeting, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House announced a holiday 2013 release date for the new console.
The company did not provide specific dates or when the PS4 would release in certain regions. Sony also did not show the PlayStation 4's form factor or announce a price, details that may be revealed at E3 2013.
