Professor Layton and the Legacy of Civilization A is scheduled to hit Nintendo 3DS in Japan on Feb. 28, it was revealed during today's Nintendo Direct conference.
The upcoming title will feature new characters voiced by well-known voice actors (left unspecified during the event), as well as the ability to visit towns in different seasons and play through over 500 new puzzles.
The game was first announced last August, in a Nintendo Direct conference that revealed this would be the last title in the series featuring the presence of Professor Layton. The game, developed by Level-5, takes place a year after the previous title in the series, and begins with someone contacting the Professor, claiming they have found a "living mummy."
Professor Layton and the Legacy of Civilization A will be available for 5,500 yen, roughly $58. No North American release date has been announced.
