MLB 2K13 publisher 2K Sports released the game's first full trailer today, giving us a look at the upcoming baseball simulation title.
The trailer quickly cuts between clips of impressively fluid in-game action, but as with most sports games, it's difficult to immediately tell what — if anything — has changed from last year.
That's a particularly relevant question for MLB 2K13, since 2K Sports surprised baseball fans by announcing the game in early January, after saying last year that it had no plans to renew its contract with Major League Baseball or release an entry in the franchise past MLB 2K12.
It's unclear how different MLB 2K13 will be from MLB 2K12, because it's unclear how much time developer Visual Concepts has had to put this year's game together. We'll find out in less than two weeks — MLB 2K13 launches March 5 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will be available for $59.99 by itself, and in a $79.99 "Combo Pack" with NBA 2K13.
