In a video released today for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, producer Naoki Yoshida and senior director of community and service Toshio Murouchi discuss the gamepad controls in Square Enix's upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
"I wanted to show players what it would be like using a gamepad to play an MMORPG, including on the PlayStation 3," Yoshida said. "Normal gameplay videos don't always give players a good idea of how the interface works, so I decided to make a video showing both game footage and the controller."
Check out the nearly 14-minute long subtitled video above to see Yoshida playing playing through the game as he and Murouchi discuss things like movement, camera controls and targeting.
A beta for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, which is a graphically upgraded and redesigned re-release of Final Fantasy 14, is set to begin Feb. 25. You can apply to be a beta tester on the game's official website.
