Two downloadable content packs are now available for indie cave-diving adventure Spelunky on Xbox Live Arcade, developer Mossmouth announced on Twitter.

"We made eight new playable characters and 24 new deathmatch arenas to get them killed in!" Mossmouth tweeted on the official Spelunky account.

Both packs are available for 160 Microsoft Points each through the Xbox Live Marketplace. The Explorers pack gives players eight new explorers to choose from when playing in single-player or deathmatch mode: the Cyclops, Eskimo, Golden Monk, Ninja, Robot, Round Girl, Round Boy and Viking. The Arenas DLC adds 24 new arenas for deathmatches.

Spelunky is available on XBLA for 1,200 Microsoft Points and is free on Windows PC through the developers' website. The game debuted for free in 2009 and was published to Xbox Live Arcade in July 2012.
