Brandon Laatsch's "First-Person Mario: Endgame" re-imagines key moments from the final world of NES classic Super Mario Bros. 3 from Mario's point of view, illustrating just how tough it would be to take down Bowser's tank force.
The video concludes with a first-person peek at the inside of Bowser's castle, with a little third-person cinematic flair right before Mario rescues Princess Peach.
Endgame, which required 50 hours of rendering time, according the video's YouTube description, is the sequel to Laatsch's original First-Person Mario video, released in 2011. Laatsch is part of the creative force behind FreddieW's YouTube channel and Rocket Jump, the video team responsible for Video Game High School.
