The next game from Castle Crashers developer The Behemoth, multiplayer action game BattleBlock Theater, is coming to Xbox Live Arcade this spring, according to a new gameplay video.
The Behemoth adds that the spring release is "for real this time," a reference to the game's long development cycle and missed launch dates. Battleblock Theater was first shown in early 2009, with an expected release date in 2010. That changed as the developer saw Battleblock Theater becoming "so much more than we ever expected" in 2010 and as the game continued to grow.
The Behemoth will hold a closed beta for BattleBlock Theater in February and March.
