State of Decay developers dive deeper into their zombie survival game in new Q&A

Developer Undead Labs reveals more about its upcoming open-world zombie survival game State of Decay in a recently published Q&A, detailing how randomly generated NPCs, switching between characters and how the signature abilities of survivors are designed.

State of Decay, coming to Xbox Live Arcade and Windows PC, lets players explore a zombie-infested open world while rescuing other survivors, scavenging for supplies and maintaining a fortified base against the undead. As detailed in the new Q&A, players will encounter NPCs related to the game's story as well as randomized survivors, each with their own traits, skills and signature abilities.

Based on responses provided by Undead Labs' Sanya Weathers, those randomized NPCs will have great variety in the weapons they possess when you rescue them and the skills they can upgrade over time.

State of Decay is coming to XBLA and PC this year.
