North American eSports company Evil Geniuses has joined Team Razer, the peripheral and accessory manufacturer's eSports organization, in a sponsorship deal the two companies announced today.

Razer will serve as Evil Geniuses' official partner for gaming accessories such as mice, keyboards and mouse pads, with the team's roster using Razer gear in all future tournaments. According to Evil Geniuses CEO Alex Garfield, the team also has plans to partner with Razer for Evil Geniuses-branded accessories that fans will be able to buy from Razer.

In a press release announcing the partnership, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan called Evil Geniuses "one of the best gaming organizations to have ever existed," and said its roster "reads as a Who's Who of eSports." Team Razer's stable of eSports teams also includes groups such as Mousesports, Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming.

Evil Geniuses was founded in 1999, and is the best-known professional gaming organization based in North America. Its roster consists of teams who compete in Dota 2 (including DeMoN), StarCraft 2 (including Jaedong and IdrA), League of Legends (including Snoopeh) and fighting games (including Justin Wong and Ricky Ortiz).
