Skylanders Cloud Patrol update adds Skylanders Giants characters

Skylanders Cloud Patrol, one of three Skylanders mobile games, was updated today to add characters from Skylanders Giants, Activision community manager Dan Amrich announced today.

Players who have figures of Giant Skylanders can import them directly into Cloud Patrol if they have the Bluetooth-enabled Portal of Power that came with Skylanders Battlegrounds on iOS. Otherwise, they can enter the code that came with the toy to unlock that character, or pay for it with in-game currency.

Today's v1.7 update from developer Vicarious Visions also brings in some regular Skylanders that weren't previously available in Cloud Patrol, including Thumpback, Eye-Brawl and Hot Dog.

Skylanders Giants originally launched last October, while Cloud Patrol was released in April.
