Bombermine the Bomberman-clone MMO launches online

A HTML5-based, Bomberman-clone MMO called Bombermine launched online recently.

The game retains features from the original Bomberman and adds many more of its own. A few power-ups include flying around the map as Nyan Cat; ability to kick bombs; screen flipping on the horizontal axis; and ambling slowly as Slow Poke.

Entering in a user name is all it takes to blow up some pixels on the randomly generated maps; however, registrations to play will open soon.

The Moscow-based developers say up to one thousand players can play one map. The official Twitter account claims that one public U.S. server recorded up to 1550 players at a time.

A Bombermine Android version is in development.
