Surgeon Simulator 2013 made waves and inspired fits of laughter at its absurd QWOP-esque take on heart surgery when it debuted earlier this year as a free Global Game Jam title. Ad video shows that the small indie team behind the sort-of-simulation is adding a more complex type of operation to the game's full release via Steam Greenlight: notoriously-difficult brain surgery.
As seen in the video, shot over the developer's shoulder, not even the people making this game can play it well.
The full version of the game will include:
- More locations: Emergency surgery in the back of a moving ambulance.
- More surgical procedures: The patient is in need of a new brain. "
- More tools: Because a good surgeon needs more than just a hammer.
- Achievements: Performing a heart transplant with a shard of glass is every surgeons ultimate goal.
