The Walking Dead's first episode will be free for PlayStation 3 owners in Europe beginning Wednesday, according to a post on the official European PlayStation Blog.
The sale for Telltale Games' episodic adventure game will begin on Wednesday, March 20, and last until Wednesday, April 3. The game's Season Pass, which includes all episodes and normally sells for $29.95, will be discounted to $21.95. PlayStation Plus subscribers can save an additional 25 percent on the Season Pass and 50 percent on each of the game's remaining four episodes.
The Walking Dead, which set in the world of Robert Kirkman's comic book, is available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC and iOS. Telltale has sponsored similar sales on other platforms. The Walking Dead was Polygon's 2012 Game of the Year. Hop over to our announcement to find out why.
