Gaming peripheral manufacturer Corsair announced the Vengeance K70 today, a fully mechanical keyboard designed for PC gaming.
Available in April for $129.99, the Vengeance is built with red backlit switches under every key and is set on an aluminum base. Corsair states the keyboard provides "fast, accurate input" for gaming with a 1000Hz reporting rate and a rollover rate of 20 keystrokes at once. The keyboard also includes dedicated multimedia keys for playing, stopping, pausing and skipping tracks and adjusting volume.
Gamers can choose between two colorschemes: silver with blue backlighting and black with red backlighting. Backlighting is adjustable and lighting for each individual key can be independently switched on or off. These settings can be saved directly to the keyboard's onboard memory. Multicolored contoured keycaps for the WASD and 1-6 keys are also available for the Vengeance K70, allowing players to further highlight frequently used keys.
Attendees at PAX East this weekend can check out Corsair's Vengeance K70 keyboard at the company's booth, #1062.
