All passes to the Australian Penny Arcade Expo (PAX Australia) to be held this year in Melbourne have sold out, according to its official Facebook page.
"We have no plans to release any further tickets for sale," a PAX spokesperson stated on the event's Facebook page. "The venue and buildings we have are sized to fit this number, we don't want you all squished or having to line up all day."
The update noted that tickets will be sent out in June and those who applied to be Enforcers, volunteer expo staff, can expect to get responses "soon, especially now PAX East is over for 2013."
More tickets were made available in January after PAX Australia secured an additional hall at the Melbourne Showgrounds.Three day passes sold out last October, leaving individual day passes and "Bring Your Own Computer" three day passes available up until now.
PAX Australia will will take place between July 19 and July 23, 2013 at the Melbourne Showgrounds and will return to the venue for the 2014 event.
Ron Gilbert, creator of the Monkey Island series and The Cave, will deliver the expo's keynote.
