The Archos GamePad is now available from retailers across the U.S., with devices available for purchase from Amazon and Adorama Camera for $179.99.
Archos TV Connect allows users to bring Android titles to their television sets. This includes full access to apps such as Gmail, in addition to gaming titles. Its GamePad features dual analog sticks, a directional pad, the traditional set of face and shoulder buttons, a full QWERTY keyboard on the bottom and a sensor which, along with the receivers on the actual device seated atop the television, offers Wiimote-like pointer control.
Archos TV Connect was shown off last month during CES. Check out our preview of the device.
