Sonic Dash, an endless runner starring Sega's speedy hedgehog, is headed to mobile platforms soon, according to a press release from Sega.
Developed by Hardlight Studio, the U.K.-based company focused on handheld and mobile games, Sonic Dash will take place in Seaside Hill, a stage originally from Sonic Adventure and seen most recently in Sonic Generations. The mobile runner will include friend-based time challenges and leaderboards, according to a post on Sega's official blog.
According to the press release, Sonic Dash will hit mobile app stores "soon." In the meantime, you can check out the blue rodent's other mobile adventure, Sonic Rings, a vertical platformer released on iOS last November.
