The latest trailer for DC Comics-based fighting game Injustice Gods Among Us reveals Lex Luthor's agenda in the game.
"I knew what the regime was capable of. When the world went to hell, I was there to help society to accept the inevitable," the character says in the video. "Batman is the face of the insurgency; if he dies, it dies with him.
"Most people join the regime for one of two reasons. Either they hope to establish a world of peace, or they were simply too afraid to take a stand. My rationale is much simpler: I always choose the winning side."
NetherRealm Studios' recently announced the the game's Red Son add-on, which will feature 20 story missions and alternate costumes for Superman, Wonder Woman and Solomon Grundy. The Red Son add-on is an adaption of DC Comics mini-series Superman: Red Son published in 2003.
Injustice: Gods Among Us comes to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on April 16 in North America, April 19 in Europe.
