Any game that is uploaded from today to the Ouya Android-powered console will be available to players when the console ships to its Kickstarter backers on March 28, according to a blog post by Ouya's lead of developer relations, Kellee Santiago.
According to the post, the Ouya store is currently being reset, so any games that were uploaded during the console's test period will be removed. From today onwards, any game that is uploaded will remain on the Ouya store and be available to backers when they receive the console later this month, and to everyone else when the console has a public release in June.
Developers who publish their games on Ouya prior to March 28 will be eligible for being profiled by the company in a series of short documentaries.
"If your game is one of the top three in the first six weeks, then one of those documentaries will be about you," Santiago writes. "We will rely heavily on these documentaries to tell people about Ouya, and we'll share them far and wide as part of our launch marketing marketing in June leading up to the holidays — everyone will know your name, your game and where to play it."
Information on how to upload a game to the Ouya store can be read here.
