Sony Online Entertainment has released a new video giving a quick overview of the redone Cobalt Scar zone for its upcoming EverQuest 2 update, Scars of the Awakened.
In the preview, three SOE developers discuss the revamping of the classic EverQuest zone. They talk about the things that have stayed the same, like the presence of the otterlike Othmir and the drakes and wyverns, and the things that haven't — like the steadily receding water level and ridgetop battles where players use ballistae to shoot down dragons.
Scars of the Awakened is scheduled to hit on April 30.
