The final two fighters to be officially confirmed for Injustice: Gods Among Us are super villains Killer Frost and Ares, who battle it out in a new gameplay trailer released by Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios.
In the video, Killer Frost uses her ice-based powers — a skill the Mortal Kombat developer is quite familiar with — to battle the evil Greek god of war Ares in Aquaman's throne room. Both characters' moves are explored as are their over-the-top supers. Ares' is arguably more impressive, as he teleports Killer Frost directly into the path of a thousand arrows then grows to colossal size before crushing her into the ground. Killer Frost's super, on the other hand, delivers a series of (still painful-looking) ice spikes.
The official confirmation of the two, which had previously leaked, puts Injustice's roster of DC Comics super heroes and villains at 24 fighters. At least four more are promised as downloadable content.
Injustice: Gods Among Us comes to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on April 16 in North America.
