SmartGlass Android app updated for 7-inch and larger tablets

SmartGlass, the second-screen multimedia smartphone and tablet application for Xbox 360, has been updated on Android, allowing 7-inch and larger tablets to be used with the software.

In addition to supporting larger touchscreens, the 1.5 update for SmartGlass also enables a feature that appeared in the app's latest iOS release: as long as it's active alongside an applicable Xbox 360 application, the screen will stay on, instead of reverting to the smartphone or tablet's sleep mode. The update also promises "numerous" bug fixes and usability changes, but you'll need to grab it from the Google Play store to see exactly what those entail.
