Nintendo updates Swapnote 3DS messaging app with photo sharing and more

Nintendo released an update today Swapnote, bringing several new features including photo sharing to the 3DS messaging app, according to a press release from the company.

When composing messages, the update allows users to attach photos and audio, choose a different color for each page and undo their last pen stroke. According to Nintendo, the Swapnote update also brings faster load times, as well as the ability to filter notes by users and favorites, delete multiple notes at one time and receive "special notes" like those sent from Nintendo "on a category-by-category basis."

To get the update (and continue to receive those "special notes" from Nintendo), users can download the latest version of Swapnote from the 3DS eShop.
