Cut the Rope physics-based puzzler coming to 3DS eShop

Physics-based puzzler Cut the Rope is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop, developer Zeptolab announced at the iDEAME indie development conference in Madrid this past weekend.

According to Nintendo World Report, the 3DS port will be made in conjunction with WiiWare and DSiWare developer Abylight, while Zeptolab will publish through the eShop. The 3DS version will also reportedly include additional levels and mechanics featured in the game's add-on content packs.

Cut the Rope initially launched for iOS in October 2010. The Android version was released in June 2011, and a DSiWare version for Nintendo DS and 3DS was released that fall. The game launched on Steam last month.

YouTube user RV3tv posted a video of Cut the Rope running on 3DS. Check it out above.

Polygon has reached out to developer Zeptolab for more details on Cut the Rope's release through the eShop, and will update this story with more information as we have it.
