Company of Heroes 2 closed beta opens to the public via Facebook likes

Company of Heroes 2's second closed beta phase is open to those who "like" the game's official Facebook page, according to a press release from publisher Sega.

Clicking a link on the official Company of Heroes 2 Facebook page will allow likers to access a key generator through a link called "FREE Beta Download" that appears at the top of the Facebook page between the "Photos" and "Likes" links. Players will need a Steam account to participate in the beta, which includes competitive and cooperative multiplayer as well as skirmish gameplay modes over six maps and the first 40 progression levels.

Relic Entertainment's World War II-themed real time strategy game is set for release June 25 on Windows PC. Its first closed beta phase went live earlier this month for those who pre-ordered the game. For more, check out our impressions from last year.
