Codemasters has released a new trailer for its upcoming racer Grid 2 focusing on its recently revealed multiplayer details.
In Grid 2, players will be assigned a rival of their same skill — or can manually challenge one themselves — and can compete in a variety of races to put one over on their nemesis. Players can also accrue NPC "followers" who support the best drivers, and outperforming a competitor means that a player can even steal followers from a foe.
This is all supported by Codemasters' RaceNet system, which it calls the "beating heart" of Grid 2 multiplayer. For more on RaceNet and Grid 2's multiplayer, check out Polygon's recent preview.
Grid 2 comes out May 28 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
