Square Enix's role-playing game Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be available on Nintendo 3DS in North America next year, Nintendo's Bill Trinen announced today in a Nintendo Direct presentation.
The game, touted as the spiritual successor to 2010's Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light, features a job class and battle system both reminiscent of Final Fantasy 5 and makes use of the 3DS' augmented reality feature during gameplay.
Bravely Default launched in Japan last October and has frequently been rumored to be coming west. Early last month the official Twitter account vaguely teased international localization, posting, "It's been a long time since I accessed Twitter. Internationals, we hear your voices!"
