Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut trailer discusses the game's 'ultimate edition'

Eidos has released a new behind the scenes video for the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the Wii U.

In the video, the developers discuss how they were able to tweak the shooter RPG for its Wii U debut and to improve it. The graphics have been adjusted with new shaders added, for one, the DLC missions are included and recontextualized to fit in with the game's greater story and the original game's unavoidable boss fights have been adjusted to allow for player builds that aren't focused on combat.

The biggest change, though, is the addition of the Wii U Gamepad as Adam Jensen's neural hub, allowing him and the player access to information at the touch of a fingertip.

Polygon saw the Director's Cut version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution at PAX East. The game is scheduled for release May 7 on Wii U.
