Star Trek: The Video Game trailer discusses what it takes to make authentic Trek

Namco Bandai has released a new video for Star Trek: The Video Game about making the game an authentic Star Trek experience.

The developers talked to the design, sound and special effects teams, says Paramount's Brian Miller, so that the bridge of the Enterprise looks and sounds exactly like the bridge of the Enterprise. The same composer and orchestra that worked on the score for the Star Trek films did the music for the game, says Miller.

The actors who play the crew of the Enterprise in the films reprise their roles for the game, and we see Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and the others dubbing a scene in recording studios around the world.

Star Trek: The Video Game will launch April 26 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
