Ubisoft has released a new video for its upcoming Ghost Recon Online title in development at Ubisoft Singapore discussing the next update to the game.
In 0.11.0, players will be able to beta test maps in order to offer feedback that the developers can act on before their release. The update also adds functionality that allows players to test out weapons and attachments in a firing range or even in a limited PvP setting before purchasing them.
Update 0.11.0 also adds locked chests that randomly contain gear, similar to Valve's microtransaction model in Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2.
Ghost Recon Online came out for Windows PC last August, and is scheduled for a Wii U release sometime this year.
